What is more impotant? The music or the lyrics? It is true that a great text with horible music sucks. But it is also true that stupid lyrics like "I love you because I love you this is why I love you do you love me let's fuck" really make me want to throw up. Even the best music can not really save such a song. But I have to admit that it is much easier to ignore the lyrics than to ignore he music. :-) So I guess good music is a little bis more important than lyrics. I did not have any problems with either the music nor the lyrics of the Cure. Lucky me! Ok, now what is the point of me talking here? Here is the collection of The Cure lyrics I finished so far.
